Biography
John Andrews joined the Pharmaceutical Technology and Development department at AstraZeneca in 2018 after graduating from the University of Leeds with a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering. Dr. Andrews initially worked on process development of small molecule drug substances before starting to focus on the development of oligonucleotide purifications in 2020. Since then, Dr. Andrews has led the development for the purification of oligonucleotides on several late phase drug projects using preparative ion exchange chromatography.
