Dr Ewa Kowalska received a Msc Eng degree in Chemical Technology from Gdansk University of Technology, Poland in 2005 and completed a Ph.D in Medicinal and Organic chemistry from Dublin City University, Ireland (2009) where she developed Chiral macrocycles based on the morphine scaffold. In 2009, Ewa worked in Merck where she help position in Technical Services before joining IPSEN in 2011 as a Senior Chemical and Process Development Chemist at IPSEN (Ireland). Her activities were focussed on the development and optimisation of oligopeptide manufacturing processes utilising solid and solution phase peptide synthesis techniques. In 2016 she moved into external supply role as a CMO manager then moved into her current role as Chemical Process Development Manager.
