Dr. Andrew Kennedy is a Senior Product Specialist for Gyros Protein Technologies and an experienced process development peptide chemist. After completing his PhD in Organic Chemistry at the University of Glasgow under the supervision of Professor Graeme Cooke, he then went on to specialize in Peptide Chemistry Process Development and Manufacturing with Almac Sciences. He has also held Senior Scientist positions in the medical devices field with Johnson & Johnson and Calcivis Ltd, developing novel enzyme-mediated medical devices for diabetes blood glucose monitoring, and photoprotein-based caries detection systems for the dental industry. Currently Dr Kennedy specializes in novel peptide synthesis applications and development of automated SPPS technologies with Gyros Protein Technologies Ltd.
