Scientific Director of Aptusbiotech since January 2020, where he is responsible for the coordination and monitoring of the company’s different projects, providing transversal support to the entire organization, evaluating the opportunities for new licenses or developments, as well as publishing and disseminating results. He received his doctorate in Molecular Biology in 2005 and moved to University of East Anglia for a two years postdoctoral stage. In 2007 he co-founded Bioapter and in 2017 co-founded AptaTargets. Additionally, he was postdoctoral researcher for ten years at the Astrobiology Centre (CAB, CSIC-INTA) where he was developing RNA and DNA aptamers.
