Biography

Dr. Elena Kumm studied chemistry before she achieved her PhD in biochemistry focusing on signaling pathways in human platelets. Afterwards she worked as PostDoc for three years in the fields of platelet research, protein purification and plasma proteomics at the University medical Center of the Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz.

She joined Tosoh Bioscience in 2022 as Application Scientist. In this role she investigates new applications for Tosoh’s instruments, process resins, HPLC columns and also gives trainings and technical support to customers. Her main focus is process consumables (prepacked columns and bulk resins).
